Christmas is over - New Year who cares?
Dec. 28th, 2009 07:33 pmDon't get me wrong, I had a good Christmas spent with my son and grandchildren. They were as good as gold and the whole visit was quite delightful. Chances are I'm feeling a bit anti-climatic.
New Year? I've lived through enough of them to know that one is very much like another over all. All years have their ups and downs, some worse than others. My mood isn't helped by taking a look at the resolutions I made on this very journal last year, and realising I didn't achieve even one of them! So no resolutions this year. Definitely not.
I'll probably scoff a box of After Eights and down a couple of glasses of Baileys while I watch the fireworks on the London Eye on my TV but that's the only concession I'm making to 2010.
